Overview:
Although there was no coordinated effort to institute systematic land-use law reform in the state in 1999, recently laws relating to county zoning, the appointment of planning commission members, and notice provisions for adopting zoning ordinances were enacted. More than a dozen land-use related bills have been introduced including measures aimed at subdivision law and master planning.
